Where is my mind?
Curated by Natalie Papier | HOME EC OP
I thought a lot about what this collection symbolized. Throughout these last chaotic months of attempting a life in the new normal of pandemics and quarantine, politics and discourse, it's made me think we all may simply be losing our minds. The art reflected as part of this collection are pieces that spoke to my sense of unease and escapism during this time. Some slightly off-kilter, some a little haunting, others speak of an alternate reality or nostalgia for simpler times. Colors and subject matters competing for your attention, catching your eye first, and then wrapping around your brain in complex tendrils speaking to your soul. Is this reality? Perhaps. But perhaps we have just lost our minds.
