The sun is setting low on the horizon this time of year and is creating fabulous color displays before it's gone, even coloring the mountains and islands. The seasonal changes and dramatic weather give us some truly spectacular clouds and with the sea as a big mirror it inspires the use of new palettes that reflect this fabulous play of colors. In this series, I have been working on dynamic and flow within a limited palette, while using shadows and light as an accent. The pastels lend themselves so easily to create those wispy weightless clouds, inspired by the movements brought on by the wind.
