Alnitak (ζ Ori / ζ Orionis / Zeta Orionis) is a star system, formed by three components, belonging to the constellation of Orion.
Light travels at a finite speed. The further a star is from us, the more time will need for its light will need to reach us.
Everything that surrounds us, starting from our planet, emerges from the darkness. We are stardust, and stardust we will be again. However, although silent and remote, our light in some corner of the universe will continue to shine even after our brief passage.
The luminescent pigment present in the sparkles of this artwork needs to absorb light before, and then it will glow in the dark. At this point, in the darkness, once the butterflies have disappeared, only the light of the stars will remain.
