I like to go further, I like to dare, I like to experiment.
The memory fades; time passes too quickly and there is no time to remember everything, all the details of a face, all the words that were heard. Art serves to remember, to leave a testimony of our existence.
In my latest works I'm using my own technique: recycling office paper and paper´from daily life such as bills, receipts, invoices, financial statements, business plans, magazines. This shredded paper becomes an artwork.
Painting is the process of locking something in the exact moment. My paintings are often a faded memory or something that was erased from time. Sometimes the objects of my paintings are glimpses of walls that are eroded by time, overgrown with moss and mushrooms. The time that passes inexorably is the main theme of my work.
